New showroom for RhijnArt Keukens

The new showroom of RhijnArt Keukens is located in Kesteren, Gelderland. The company supplies luxury custom-made kitchens for both companies and private individuals. This project was all about the aesthetics and the finish. FALK took the façade of the new showroom to the next level by supplying the FALK 1060 WB insulated wall panel in the colour HPS Raven.

The building, which has a gross floor area of around 1,850m2, was built on a site that had previously been occupied by a tree nursery. The municipality therefore requested that the building look like a traditional tree house. The building was constructed using FALK sandwich panels and is embellished with anthracite-coloured brickwork, glasswork and aluminium composite frames. The sandwich panels are covered with horizontal and vertical slats, supplied by MontageMarkt in Ede. The original plan was to use wood, but due to shortages, steel was chosen. In order to preserve the natural look, a special wood-look coating was chosen, FALK Special Natural Beech. This fulfilled RhijnArt Keukens’s request for a low-maintenance product that would not age. The FALK 1140 KV carrier panel was used for mounting the standing seam roof.

Jan van Harberden, owner of RhijnArt Keukens: ‘A sleek, modern building on the inside, with a robust, natural look on the outside. We were excited about the exterior from day one.’

The sleek aluminium composite frames were supplied by COFAC in Ede. COFAC is an expert in designing and manufacturing aluminium composite façade elements. The building was constructed by Bouwbedrijf J.G. Timmer. The FALK sandwich panels, standing seam roof and aluminium composite frames were installed by Gevelstyling by Donkersteeg based in Kootwijkerbroek.
