Dimensio Verpakkingen recently moved into its new premises in Almere, a mega distribution centre spanning 33,000 m². Despite its size, the building has a calm, ‘idyllic’ appearance: koi carp swim around the building, sheep graze peacefully in the ‘front garden’ and the stork lands on its own nest at Dimensio. Inside the building, colleagues swim laps and have their own gym. In short, the design prioritises people and nature.
Sec.architecten did a fantastic job. Bag specialist Dimensio is a wholesaler of packaging materials. The company offers a wide range of plastic bags and cardboard boxes. The company was looking for a new location in response to its growth. In addition to distribution space, the building had to offer high-quality office space and social facilities. And that’s what they got!
Here at FALK, we were delighted to be able to contribute to this beautiful building by supplying our FALK 1060 WB architectural façade panel in Colorcoat Prisma® Ephyra. With an RC value of 4.7, this panel forms a superbly insulated shell. The panels were finished with the micro-rib 16 profile. As the final finishing touch, punched aluminium panels were applied in a similar colour.
