ROC Midden Nederland-Tech Campus and Opleidingsbedrijf Metaal Midden Nederland joined forces to realise the MAKE Center in Nieuwegein. The MAKE Center is a modern training company in which the business community invests heavily in high-quality machines.
The MAKE Center is the place in the central region of the Netherlands where intermediate vocational students and metal industry professionals work together and learn from each other. People learn faster by experimenting and doing – and at the MAKE Center, they learn, design and create. This fantastic location recently opened its doors to welcome enthusiastic students.
In the brightly designed space, state-of-the-art machines are ready and waiting to be used by the young engineers. While the interior prioritises light and visibility, the design on the outside is altogether different.... FALK Bouwsystemen supplied the facades for this unique building. The façade was realised with the beautiful coating Colorcoat Prisma® Seren Black – a black coating with a subtle sparkle, elevating the aesthetics of the exterior to a higher, more exclusive level. The vertical ribs are a particularly appealing feature of the design. Corner profiles have been skilfully applied to the sandwich panels to break up the long surfaces, creating a beautiful interplay of lines. The façade is finished with drip flashing in Colorcoat Prisma® Seren Gold.
